Frequently Asked Questions

Do you have a cancellation policy?

Bookings may be cancelled or re-scheduled more than 24 hours before their start time without penalty. Bookings cancelled within 24 hours of the start time are not eligible for a refund or re-schedule and will incur the full fee.

Do you supply boxes and packing materials?

Our packers do not bring boxes or packing materials. These need to be supplied to them by you. Should you require this, we can provide all necessary equipment. We have different packages for different-sized homes, and all packages are discounted by 10% when purchased in conjunction with our packing services.

Our packages include appropriate quantities of boxes and packing materials for homes of all different sizes.

Who are the packers?

Our packers are well-trained mature ladies that are experienced in packing and unpacking homes. They are friendly, polite, and professional; and all have passed police checks.

Is there a minimum booking?

We have a minimum booking package of 2 packers for 4 hours. This can be used for either a pack or unpack and costs $480.

How long should i book

Every property is different and therefore have different packing and unpacking time requirements. However, as a rule of thumb:

  • 2 packers can pack / unpack 32-40 boxes in 4 hours (a typical kitchen plus 1-2 other rooms)
  • 3 packers can pack / unpack 60-75 boxes in 5 hours (a typical kitchen plus 3-4 other rooms)
  • 4 packers can pack / unpack 96-120 boxes in 6 hours (a typical kitchen plus 5-6 other rooms)

Can I add extra time?

Yes. You’re able to add additional packing time above our minimum package of 2 packers for 4 hours. Additional time may be purchased in increments of 15 minutes, and will be charged at $75 (incl. GST) per packer per hour.

Additional time may be pre-purchased or requested on the date of the pack/unpack (subject to the packers’ availability). We recommend pre-booking if possible to avoid disappointment.

When should I schedule my pre-move pack or post-move unpack?

We recommend scheduling your pre-move pack for 1-2 days (for regular homes) and 2-3 days (for large homes) before your moving date. We recommend scheduling your post-move unpack for the day after your move.

These timeframes ensure you’re able to utilise extra assistance if required, and that your move is completed without obstruction.

Do I need to be home?

It’s strongly advised that someone be home for the arrival of the packers. Our experienced packers are more than able to get the job done independently, however, you or a nominated person should be available via phone in the event that there are any questions.
